So running the site during school has not been the easiest task in the world. I should clarify, its not that its difficult, its just talking so much more of my time then i anticipated. Its making me contemplate that if i didn’t write online notes, i would considerable more time to work on other hobbies and work on assignments. But I still want to - its the whole point of the site! I’m just going to have to restructure things in order to make it more time efficient. you might have noticed that it is not being updated daily, but instead every saturday. this was put in place because it was looking like nothing would ever get uploaded and a weekly schedule is reasonable for my time.
My current idea is to focus more on textbook material then Lectures. I think that will make the notes far more readable and comprehensive. Write now, im only reading the textbook when i absolutely have to, but i think if i read even the tiniest bit of the corresponding chapter before the lecture, it will improve my understanding of it ten fold.
I think my main problem, productivity-wise, is just keeping attention. I’ve consider looking into some sort of ADHD diagnoses - ive been expected of it since i was very young - but i kinda doubt that i have it. im looking to things like the Pomodoro and time blocking but haven’t any significant boost efficacy - i suppose these kinds of things take time.
another issue is that im just not a fast typist, especially with latex. i do regularly practice touch typing but have hit a plateau for the past month or so, and it doesn’t help that may track pad has been having a lot of issues recently that seem to be hardware related. ive also been looking into vim to try to help my text editing, but that will especially take time to become good at. Although i should learn these things anyways, I have been putting a lot a though into note taking techniques that don’t require typing like mind maps.
on second thought, its really my focus that need to be improved
